Stinger - Small
The Small Stinger provides aviators and ground forces with a visual missile launch signature which ascends to an altitude of approximately 160 feet. The visual effect consists of a single bright plume ascending while producing a 1.5 foot diameter white smoke trail. The pilot sees a missile plume signature climbing up toward his aircraft. The stinger is only fired with Titan's Omega products. These systems provide enhanced home station training for Air Defense Screens, Air Defense Umbrellas, compliment Man Portable Air Defense (MANPAD) and various scenarios in Military Operations Urban Terrain / Reconnaissance Team (MOUT/RT) environments. The Small Stinger signature creates no adverse conditions relative to the aircraft's safe operation.
